Volunteer

Volunteering with a charity can be great for self-esteem, team building, moral and really helps to contribute to those in need. If this something you or your organisation is interested in please contact us on 01234 348475 or email [email protected] 

Why choose Amicus Trust to volunteer with? 

You will be supporting some of the most vulnerable members within our community, homeless adults with a range of complex needs. Amicus Trust provides accommodation and support to ensure everyone who engages with Amicus Trust has access to accommodation and also the opportunity to build the skills they need to move on to a a future free from homelessness.

Volunteering Ideas:

Amicus Trust would appreciate support with any of the following areas

  • Free courses or training for services users
  • Volunteering days for decorating or working on-site
  • Mentoring or work experience days

What Amicus will provide:

If you are an organisations, we will work with you to ensure that volunteering opportunities match your corporate requirements with the needs of our clients. In addition we will undertake risk assessments, a full briefing and provide refreshments for volunteering days.  Where required DBS checks and Safeguarding training will be carried out for volunteers.
