Wellingborough Young People's Project Amicus Trust are delighted to offer a newly converted 7 bedroom housing project dedicated to the support of young people 16 - 24 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Located in the heart of Wellingborough, close to the shops and amenities this project offers accommodation for up to 7 young people from the region. Individuals have their own secure en-suite bedroom and access to a communal kitchen, living room and dining area. This is a newly converted apartment which is fully furnished, with large bay windows and well-equipped communal areas. Young people will have access to the following support; Accommodation for up to 2 years Private en-suite bedroom Access to communal areas Housing support staff on-site Personal Development Plan Key Work Access to in-house Mental Health services Signposting When the young people move in with Amicus Trust they are encouraged to identify the steps they need to take to progress to their own home. A dedicated Key Worker will support the individual with achieving their goals and overcoming any issues they need support with. The aim of the project is to support young people in a safe environment while they build the skills needed to live independently.
