On Tue 25 Jan 22 three veterans from the Amicus Trust project in Sandy had a visit to Teamworks Go Karting centre in Letchworth. They were participating in the GP experience which consists of a safety briefing and issue of safety equipment with a view to preparing them for three 10 minute sessions in the state of the art go karts at the indoor circuit in Letchworth.

All three enjoyed the experience and finished with a sense of well being, achievement and pride as they gained their certificates. The go karting was followed by McDonalds meal as they robustly discussed who was the best driver!

This experience has left the veterans feeling pretty proud of themselves and looking forward to perhaps another go karting challenge in the future.
