Amicus Trust Becomes an Accredited Living Wage Employer

We are delighted to announce that Amicus Trust is now officially accredited as a Living Wage Employer, demonstrating our commitment to recognising and valuing the contribution of the people who make our work possible.

Every day, our colleagues provide accommodation, guidance and person-centred support to people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. Their dedication helps individuals build confidence, develop essential life skills and take positive steps towards greater independence and a more secure future.

The real Living Wage is independently calculated based on what people need to earn to meet the cost of living. Unlike the government’s National Living Wage, it is a voluntary rate that employers choose to pay because they believe their staff deserve a wage that reflects everyday living costs.

Becoming an accredited Living Wage Employer is therefore an important step for Amicus Trust and reflects our wider values as an organisation.

We believe that providing high-quality support starts with valuing the people who deliver it. By committing to the real Living Wage, we are investing in our team, supporting their wellbeing and reinforcing our commitment to being a fair and responsible employer.
