Nationwide Building Society supporting Fundraising for Amicus Trust Christmas Day Appeal!

Nationwide Building Society has been a friend to Amicus Trust for the past 3 years. In 2019 Nationwide awarded Amicus Trust a community grant to provide mental health support in Northamptonshire, then in 2020 Amicus were awarded a grant to run the project for a further 2 years. This take up and impact of this support has been amazing, especially during the pandemic which saw service users struggling more than ever with mental health needs.

In 2019 we also joined up with the Bedford branch, who were really active in raising money for our Christmas appeal and with volunteering at our veteran horticultural project. We have been working closely with Janete and her team ever since.

We are now delighted to say we have teamed up with even more branches, all operating in the towns where Amicus Trust provide accommodation and support.

Everyone we have spoken to at the branches have been helpful and delighted to help, so this November and December the branches will be running collections and raffles in Bedford, Leicester, Wellingborough, Northampton, Corby, Peterborough, St. Neots, Huntingdon, Leighton Buzzard, Luton and Aylesbury.

All of the proceeds will go directly to the houses to provide food and treats for Christmas Day.

Kellie Ormond, Marketing and Fundraising Manager explained "Staff at Nationwide are encouraged to support good causes in the local community. They do this with so much enthusiasm, all the staff I have met at the branches have gone above and beyond.  They take their social responsibility incredibly seriously and are always friendly and happy to help!"

We are so grateful to the teams at Nationwide and wanted to say a big thank you to everyone ( Top Peterborough Branch & Left to Right branches in Leighton Buzzard, St Neots, Luton, Huntingdon, Corby, Wellingborough) - Leicester, Bedford and Aylesbury (not yet pictured)
