Ideally staff will have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social care, although full training will be provided for the right person.

Chief Executive
Based in Bedford

Amicus Trust is a charity which supports single homeless individuals to work towards independent living within the community.

The charity was first established in August 1975 and has grown from supporting 30 single homeless individuals to over 4oo today, working within the areas of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.

Our Chief Executive is retiring shortly and we are in the process of looking for her replacement.

We are seeking to recruit a new Chief Executive Officer who will report to the Board and who will continue to drive the fast development of the organisation.

The ideal person will be energetic, with a genuine commitment to promoting the rights of vulnerable people and with excellent leadership skills.

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a psychometric profile and there will be an ability test and presentation on the day of the interview.
