The difference we make

Support for all

Amicus Trust have been supporting the homeless community since 1974, at Amicus Trust we believe everyone deserves support and the opportunity to create a home of their own, recognising that each individual is unique with different needs, backgrounds and ambitions.

The difference we make

Amicus Trust support some of the most vulnerable individuals in the community, people who can often be let down by main stream support or need additional support engaging with community services  The challenges faced by service users include 75% reporting mental health issues, 15% from an armed forces background, 44% with education and employment needs, 15% ex offenders and the majority with complex needs and experience of difficult backgrounds or chaotic lifestyles.

With support, key work, sign posting and ultimately the work of each individual, service users are able to overcome barriers to independent living, with 60% of service users successfully moving on.
