Trusts and Foundations: Our Approach

Amicus Trust support some of the most vulnerable members of the community with accommodation and Key Work. The clients are homeless or at risk of homelessness, the majority also have a range of complex needs, and can often be left unsupported due to gaps in mainstream support.

We utilise the support of Trusts and Foundations to fund complimentary support projects such as Mental Health, Education and Employment, Horticulture and other special projects. These projects help create a holistic service and enhance the service users ability to move on and sustain their own home.  They also provide a bridge to enable individuals to progress to other types of support i.e. developing basic skills so they can progress to education or employment, or overcoming anxiety and trust to access mental health services.

Through funding we can establish the projects and where possible we will seek to explore other streams of revenue to make projects more sustainable.

Stewardship

We are committed to delivering excellent stewardship of any grants we receive, providing well run projects that are monitored and ran in line with grant guidelines, delivering timely reports, feedback and promoting the grant through online and off line publicity.

Current Funders and Partners

Amicus Trust appreciate the support and funding granted by all the Trust and Foundations over the years, and would especially like to say thank you to our current funders, without your support many of our essential projects would not be able to happen.
